There are so many things to see and do on the Road to Hana. With all of the waterfalls, tropical flowers, picnic areas and swimming holes to stand under, smell, rest at, and jump in you can see why we suggest getting an early start to make the most of your drive down the Road to Hana.  The only thing we ever wish we’d done differently after a trek to Hana is to have allowed more time, so plan several hours and don’t feel rushed on the road. Also, keep in mind that food and fuel stops are spread out along the Road to Hana.  You don’t want to be forced to cut a beautiful hike or relaxing swim short because you’re starving and still have a long drive to get food.  Bring a picnic lunch from Hana Picnic Lunch Co, and eat when it’s convenient for you!
