Check out the Lava Tube!

There are many awesome sights to see at Waianapanapa State Park, but one of the coolest things of all is the lava tube.  Follow the path down to the black sand beach – also a must-see – and as soon as your feet touch the black sand you’ll see the entrance to the lava tube.  Walk in carefully.  Even though it’s a sight you don’t want to miss, the waves are unpredictable in the mouth of the tube. Get more information and directions from Hana Picnic Co.
